Iron IV Infusion (Ferinject®)

Iron deficiency can affect energy, concentration and recovery—even before anaemia develops.

Iron deficiency is common and can cause fatigue, reduced concentration, lower exercise tolerance or a general feeling of being unwell. Symptoms may occur even when haemoglobin levels are still within the normal range.

Before treatment, we assess your iron status, including haemoglobin and ferritin, together with your medical history and individual risk factors.

When intravenous iron is medically appropriate, Ferinject® delivers iron directly into the bloodstream. The treatment is administered by trained healthcare professionals in a supervised clinical setting.

Your response is assessed with a follow-up check of iron and ferritin approximately one month after treatment.
