CT Heart Calcium Score

Detect early signs of coronary artery disease

Service overview

Description

A CT calcium score measures the amount of calcified plaque in the coronary arteries. Research shows this is one of the most accurate predictors of future heart attack risk. A score of zero means no detectable plaque, while higher scores indicate increasing risk. This test is recommended for individuals over 30 or with cardiovascular risk factors.
